Aunt Amanda visits Nashville

Ainsley's Aunt Amanda came in town for a visit from Texas! She's never been to Nashville before, so of course we had PLENTY to show her. We hit up all of the usual "touristy, this is where you take people who come and visit you" places. This is always nice for Brantley and me because these are places we enjoy going, but don't typically go to unless we have a reason. It was nice catching up with Amanda. We don't get to see her very often and she's only ever seen Ainsley twice (once last October and then December for very short periods of time). So we're glad she was able to make the trip and spend some good quality time with us!

One of my favorite (if not my favorite) places and restaurants, Puckett's in Downtown Franklin.

Amanda wanted to do something historical and Franklin is FULL of history with places to go having to do with The Civil War. We went to tour Carnton Plantation. I have always wanted to visit this place, but never taken the time to do it. It was very interesting and we had a nice time (especially since my parents took Ainsley for the afternoon ;)

We had intended to take Ainsley here at Christmas time to take some pictures, but that never happened. She loved looking at the water and plants.
